16 inches of snow didn’t change a thing. Our Icelandic sheep are incredibly winter-hardy. They have shelter — but they prefer being outside, even in storms like this. We feed daily, rain or shine. Hay and alfalfa pellets are spread intentionally so every sheep eats and there’s no competition. Feed is spread across the pasture on purpose — so nutrients and manure nourish the land, not one compressed spot. Even in winter. Everything we do is connected.
