Most Jews and Protestants consider the Masoretic Text the authoritative Hebrew Bible (Protestants call it the Old Testament). While it was written sometime between the seventh and tenth centuries AD, it was based on the meticulously preserved oral tradition and the best available manuscripts of the original Hebrew text.

Masoretic Text History
The “Three Angels’ Message” (Revelation 14) comes from an early hymn text in James White’s 1849 hymn compilation. It was first published as “Second Advent History,” and later appeared under the title “The Three Messages.” No tune was originally provided. For this piano arrangement, we paired the text with CWM RHONDDA to carry the message in sound. Arranged by Alejandro Consolacion II for my album Almost Home: Hymns on the Second Coming of Jesus — Full version available on: Spotify https://bit.ly
