Every year on November 9, the Sivananda Ashram in Kerala remembers Swami Vishnudevananda, who left his body in 1993. For seven days, the ashram holds the Bhagavata Saptaha with readings and songs about Lord Krishna, whose teachings inspired both Swami Sivananda and his disciple.
