The river is a lot higher than a couple weeks ago due some recent storms. Rain has subsided for now but we are in for some more rain in the near future. January 2nd is National Science Fiction Day! This day honors the science fiction genre and the birthday of famous sci-fi author Isaac Asimov (born January 2, 1920).
