Our big baby Bongo. Sometimes if we sit on the bench outside the door the scared dogs can feel safer to come up to us and know they are ok. Bongo bonds extra quick. We love him and we don’t think he will be at the shelter too long. He seems to like other dogs as we passed by miss Ruby’s kennel on the way in, he stopped to say hello to her. We are hoping to get him to the vet for vaccines and a Heartworm test tomorrow or Thursday. | Friends of the River Rouge Animal Shelter
