@5lllllc on Instagram‎: "Samir Sabih Dhahi Al-Quraishi, an Iraqi folk poet, was born in 1970 in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.He began his poetic journey in 1988, and belongs to what is called the “generation of poets of the eighties.” He wrote many Iraqi songs, as well as presenting poetry programs on the official Iraqi channel.He won the award for best poet at the Rabat Festival.Samir Subaih died in a traffic accident in Wasit Governorate, Al-Kut, near Badra and Jassan, on October 22, 2021. #سمير
