Recipe: -make a roux with melted butter, flour, whole milk & chicken broth or you could also use a can of cream of chicken (be mindful of sodium for young eaters) -steam a frozen bag of mixed veggies -cook and shred chicken (I like to make chicken thighs in the instant pot!) Combine roux or cream of chicken soup, veggies & shredded chicken in a bowl and then place inside crescent roll triangles in a muffin tin. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees or until golden brown! Enjoy!! 🫶🏼 For more si

Hey folks, this cold weather calls for some gumbo. But every gumbo starts with a good roux. So let’s make a roux together. #gumbo #gumboweather #chickenandsausagegumbo #roux

Come along while we stir up a pot of real Louisiana comfort. Dark roux, tender chicken, smoky sausage, and flavors that stick with you long after the bowl’s empty. This ain’t rushed, and it ain’t fancy — just good gumbo made the way it’s supposed to be. Grab a spoon, pull up a chair, and let it cook low and slow. #ChickenAndSausageGumbo #Gumbo #LouisianaCooking #CajunCooking #CajunFood #CreoleFood #ComfortFood #SouthernCooking #FromTheBayou #CookWithMe #HomeCooking #FoodContent #Stalekracker #Ca
