Pull to waist pull-up and the muscle up are both difficult progressions of the pullup. While the latter is more difficult, it is reliant on momentum making it not very good of a movement for hypertrophy — it def looks cool tho. The former is better for hypertrophy but isn’t regarded to be as impressive as the muscle up.
