Fed has 'quietly' upped inflation target to 3%, market strategist says
Dean Smith, chief strategist and portfolio manager at FolioBeyond, called Fed Chair Jerome's Powell's claim that the U.S. central bank is still targeting a 2% annual inflation rate "nonsense," adding that he believes Fed policymakers have "unofficially" increased that target to 3%.
