Even with the pandemic crisis, Dolphin Research Center Manatee Rescue personnel with help from Dolphins Plus Marine Mammal Responder volunteers responded to rescue an orphaned baby manatee in Islamorada. The female calf is in its way with MyFWC Florida Fish and Wildlife to Miami Seaquarium for rehabilitation. All fingers crossed for its survival.
