At least seven explosions and the sound of low-flying aircraft have been heard in Venezuela's capital, Caracas.

Nicolas Maduro and his wife were captured by the U.S. amid a "large scale strike" in Venezuela, President Donald Trump said.

It was not immediately clear what was behind the explosions. Venezuela’s government, the Pentagon and White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
