A massive winter storm is slamming the tri-state area — and much of the country — with snow, ice and freezing rain. New York City is expected to get up to a foot, while New Jersey should see less and the Hudson Valley more.

The storm, which hasn’t formed yet, is expected to reach the Garden State by early Sunday morning and continue through Sunday night or early Monday.

In a more immediate forecast, temperature overnight tonight should crash to about the 5-15 range NNJ to SNJ by Saturday morning. Highs should then range from about 10-20 NNJ to SNJ on Saturday afternoon with dry mostly sunny conditions. So how much snow will NJ get?
