The Powerball jackpot was previously won on Dec. 24 when one ticket sold sold in Cabot, Arkansas won a $1.82 billion prize, the second-largest ever. The next drawing is on Saturday, Jan. 24. The jackpot for the next drawing is an estimated $20 million with a cash value of $9.1 million.

The most an Iowan has ever won from playing the lottery was $343 million in 2018 off the Powerball.
