A new report from WrestleVotes Radio via Fightful Select indicates that WWE is actively discussing a potential return for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

Former United States Champion Rusev has been absent from WWE programming since losing a tournament match to Jey Uso on Nov. 21 SmackDown, underscoring ongoing roster management.

“Stone Cold” made a cameo appearance at WrestleMania 41, crashing his ATV into the barricade, but before that, he hadn’t been seen in a WWE ring since WrestleMania 38 three years earlier.
