Two men are dead after a shootout Sunday, January 18, according to Roanoke Police.

Deputies were dispatched to Stuart Community Hospital to meet with a 27-year-old Stuart man with a gunshot wound.

49-year-old Samuel Peitit Davis of Roanoke is charged with second-degree murder.

Police say the investigation is active and ongoing, the conditions of the two victims remains unknown at this time.
