After building up momentum in Volume 1, Stranger Things Season 5 came to a screeching halt in Volume 2. The second part of the final season of Netflix’s mega-hit sci-fi series spent far too much time stalling the action with grueling, cheesy heart-to-hearts, riddled with awkward dialogue, all nuance and subtext be damned.
Netflix’s Stranger Things ended recently, and fans are still looking back at the final season as well as the cast who brought the tale to life.
“But no, throughout the course of Stranger Things, there's been only one scene that's been deleted, all the way back in Season 1,” recalled Matt Duffer. “Which was a scene Netflix had us write that we didn't want to write, so we just shot it and deleted it, and they forgot we shot it. It was kind of amazing.”
