SpaceX has scheduled two rocket launches from California's Vandenberg Space Force Base within a week. The sixth and seventh rocket launches of 2026 in California are coming up within a week – both SpaceX missions to deploy commercial Starlink internet satellites.

SpaceX will launch an advanced, jam-resistant GPS satellite for the U.S. Space Force from Florida tonight (Jan. 26), and you can watch the action live.

Another SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket is due to launch on the West Coast. Californians have plenty of ways to watch liftoff, including a livestream.

The proliferated architecture satellites are built by SpaceX and Northrop Grumman. All of them have reached orbit aboard Falcon 9 rockets launching from Vandenberg. The first such mission, NROL-146, lifted off in May 2024.

The Space Coast’s first launch of the year came after midnight Sunday, the first of what could be four launches in the next 10 days, all from SpaceX.
