Portland police arrested a handful of people Saturday as protests against federal immigration enforcement tactics resurfaced across the city, prompted by the Border Patrol killing of a Minneapolis man earlier in the day.

Portland leaders have condemned the actions of federal agents while calling for a "calm and purposeful" response.

A crowd gathered at Elizabeth Caruthers Park, chanting for federal immigration officers and the controversial ICE facility to get out of the city and state.
