People protested in Philadelphia Monday in support of Minneapolis following the second death amid an immigration crackdown.
As anti-ICE protests continue nationwide, demonstrators in Philadelphia took to the streets again and blocked the vehicle exit at the ICE field office in Center City. The protesters were primarily clergy and faith leaders representing various churches and temples throughout the city.
“ICE going to Philly is quite the choice,” a second user wrote. “This is the same city where people have set shit on fire and have taken out light poles out of concrete whenever the Eagles team lost. Or won. The high-ranking police officer warned them that ICE does not want the smoke. She’s serious.”

Protesters in Philly demand return of slavery exhibit at Independence National Historical Park site
Protesters gathered at the President’s House site at Independence National Historical Park to demand the return of the slavery exhibits that were recently removed.

Organizers from No ICE Philly say they're attempting block vehicles from leaving the facility. No ICE Philly is made up of faith and community leaders who say they want to protect neighbors from ICE actions in the city.
