The Dolphins are moving their general manager search into overdrive. A day after scheduling interviews with seven candidates, the Dolphins began those interviews Tuesday, with the intent of completing them all by Wednesday evening.

Sure enough, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported the Miami Dolphins requested interviews with 49ers Vice President of Player Personnel Tariq Ahmad and Director of Scouting and Football Operations, Josh Williams, for their vacant general manager position.

With a general manager now in place, the Dolphins have called the representation for John Harbaugh, conveying interest in the former Ravens coach, according to a source with direct knowledge. But as of Saturday morning, no interview had been booked for Harbaugh in Miami or elsewhere.
