A federal appellate court upheld a lower court’s decision granting summary judgment to Waste Pro of Florida in a lawsuit filed by a former driver.

Waste Pro in Florida will pay $1.4 million and subsidiaries of GFL Environmental in Georgia will pay $3.1 million to settle separate lawsuits. Both settlements require training and other improvements.
