The massive winter weather system that will impact nearly 200 million people across dozens of states is wreaking havoc on air travel as flight delays and cancellations are impacting airports across the country.

A powerful winter storm tore through vast parts of the United States, dumping snow, sleet and freezing rain across multiple regions.

Forecasters said snow, sleet, freezing rain and dangerously frigid temperatures would sweep the eastern two-thirds of the nation on Sunday and into the week.
