A man is in critical condition after being shot at a metro Atlanta library on Monday afternoon, police said.

Police have arrested a suspect wanted for a shooting at the Decatur Library that left one victim fighting for their life in the hospital.

Family and police officials identified the victim as 59-year-old Terry Loman of Decatur.

When officers arrived, they found a man inside the building suffering from a gunshot wound.

Officials say that, out of an abundance of caution, the Decatur Library will remain closed through Feb. 9.
