Fronted by White, bankrolled by Saudi Arabia and operated by Nick Khan, Zuffa promises to be a formidable presence in the sport.
“I’m making my Zuffa debut on March 8 here in the (Meta) APEX,” Opetaia confirmed to hosts Molly Qerim and Mike Coppinger during the post-fight show. The bout will also serve as the anticipated U.S. debut for the 30-year-old southpaw from Sydney.

Zuffa Boxing 1, headlined by Callum Walsh vs Carlos Ocampo, is the promotion’s official first event, and kicks off a ground-breaking broadcast deal with Paramount+. The streamer aired the show in the US and UK, but international fans were able to watch on a free YouTube stream.
